Tara. This is the name of an extraordinary boat, an oceanographic schooner sailing the Pacific Ocean to study coral. I embarked in February 2018 with the scientists for a media report in the Philippines...

In 2003, I dived on the Amoco Cadiz wreck in Brittany, France. At the time Facebook did not exist... My story had only been published in print, on the back page of the newspaper Ouest-France.

In December, I returned to Indonesia. Not to dive, this time. I was reporting on the 10th anniversary of the December 26, 2004 tsunami.

This year I discovered freediving. First in Indonesia, then in the Mediterranean Sea. In English, we say "free diving", in other words freedom under water... I love it!

I won't be at the dive show this weekend. But I had the pleasure to interview the godfather of this 2014 edition, the underwater photographer and naturalist Laurent Ballesta.

I suck at self-promotional teasing! I should have talked about it earlier here: two of my articles were published on February 15, 2009 in dimanche Ouest-France. They are two subjects inspired by trips I've already told you about, to the Dominican Republic and Bali.

My clownfish on the front page! I'm very proud... Several of my underwater photos are published in this special edition of Sunday's Ouest-France, entitled Au cœur des Océans. It hits newsstands this Thursday.

A few days ago, I met sociologist Rodolphe Christin for an interview. He is the author of Manuel de l'antitourisme, published by Yago. It's an itchy little book, in which he invites us to give meaning back to our travels.
