At the heart of the oceans

  Between Two Journeys

Dear English-speaking readers, this page is an automatic translation made from a post originally written in French. My apologies for any strange sentences and funny mistakes that may have been generated during the process. If you are reading French, click on the French flag below to access the original and correct text:

My clown fishes in one! I'm not a little proud... Several of my underwater photos are published in this special issue of Sunday West-France, entitled At the heart of the oceans. He goes out on newsstands this Thursday.

Produced in partnership with the aquarium of Brest Océanopolisit is for children. It's a 64 pages, all color, with a poster of dolphins in it.

I haven't seen it "in real life" at the time I post this post... I can only suggest that you view, below, the PDF copies of the pages where some of my photos appear.

I take this opportunity to test a tool of browsing on screen, which I already chronicled a few weeks ago, in Sunday West-France...and I think it's pretty good: Issuuu.

→ See the special issue At the heart of the oceans on Issu

This special issue accompanies a file Ouest-France on the oceans, to which I will contribute again, during February. In an article to appear, still in Sunday West-FranceI will come back on the Biorock project in Bali, of which I have already spoken to you here.

  1. @ Marie-Julie, Denis, Ceucidit: Merci à tous!!! 🙂

As Ceucidit points out, this is exactly what happened: knowing my passion and knowing that I was shooting underwater, my colleague in charge of driving the edition of this special issue thought about ask me if I had photos especially for tropical seas ... Obviously, I had a shovel!

For me, it is in any case a great satisfaction to see these images benefit from a publication elsewhere than on my own blog!

  2. Bravo! I bought it yesterday morning. My bookseller opened the package for me. I do not know exactly what your photos are but all are very good ... especially the clownfish or turtle, on 2 pages.
Mon petit fils (âgé de 7 ans) arrive sous peu chez moi. Il va être très content, en plus avec un poster de dauphins 😉

  3. @ Lydie: Tout à fait ! 😀

@ Siratus: The big pictures on 2 pages are not mine. The one where images that I made are on the animation above (look at the names written in very small next to the pictures, that's where the credits are carried). I am especially pleased with the page "To each his defense" where all the photos are of me except one. For kids, it's very nice, anyway. I hope it will please your grandson ...

@ Laurence: I hope you find it ... The best is to give it to a child, it's really for them.

  4. @ Laurence & Alimata:
Thank you both, but I'm not very much in the design, nor in the realization of the said special issue. I just provided some pictures to illustrate some pages ...

As for the zebra shark, you're damn observant, Alimata! And here, I must confess the trickery: it's not really "the other side of my zebra". They simply returned the picture (with my permission), so that the corny presents his best profile, all for reasons of low layout ...
