Malaysia: J-89
Just to kill time while waiting for the big departure, I'm trying to put a blog online. Takeoff on Friday, June 23, 2006: D-89... It's not so far!
I offer you a glimpse of the buildings of Kuala Lumpur, the ultra-modern Malaysian capital. Below, a photo taken during my stopover "shopping" between two planes, back from Thailand, last February.
Below, a night vision of the famous twin towers Petronas, seen between two buildings, from the sky train. Dizzying height of these twins towers Malaysian: 451 meters.
To tell the truth, the "move" is involuntary. But it does make the picture more interesting, after all!
😉
A little comment to tell you that your blog is so cool! I can't wait for you to leave to follow you!
Hello,
My partner and I are leaving for a 7 month trip to South East Asia in less than a month (yiha!).
I have a question. Since we have booked our plane tickets (and that's it), the trip will be organized as we go along. We (I) would love to go to the island of Borneo.
We will certainly visit there from Singapore. Do you have tips for airlines that are worth the cost (low price, frequency)?
I am waiting for your advice which will be welcome!
Marielle.
@Marielle: check out the website of Air Asia, the Malaysian lowcost airline, which serves many destinations in South-East Asia at low prices... I think it's the airline I've flown with the most!
😉
If you are in Singapore, I think you will have to take off from Johor Bahru, Malaysia, just across the street, to catch Air Asia flights.
Otherwise, in Indonesia, you can take Garuda or Lion Air / Wings Air, Batavia Air, as well as other local companies (sometimes we have no choice, depending on the destinations we want to reach), but avoid if possible the Merpati not reliable at all ...
Otherwise, on the spot, whatever the country, if you do not find an Air Asia link for a specific route you want to do, you will always find small local agencies to help you locate and book flights, with local companies , may be suitable for you.
