Choices have to be made... Here's a new map of the route I'm planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Thailand to Borneo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I eliminate <strong>Cherating<\/strong>, <strong>Malacca<\/strong> or the park <strong>Taman Negara<\/strong>...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will arrive by Thailand, where I plan to spend a few days in <strong>Koh Tao<\/strong>. I&#039;ll go down south by train, from <strong>Chumphon<\/strong> to <strong>Songai Kolok<\/strong> on the border with Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I then plan to follow the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia to the south, then join <strong>Borneo<\/strong>. My ultimate goal: the island of <strong>Sipadan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"585\" height=\"299\" src=\"https:\/\/petitesbullesdailleurs.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/06\/malaisie-trip-01.jpg\" alt=\"July 2006. With road trip by bus, because there is no rail link on this side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then take off <strong>Johor Bahru<\/strong>, the border city in front of <strong>Singapore<\/strong>, for <strong>Borneo<\/strong>. I finally chose to land directly at <strong>Sandakan<\/strong>, near the orangutan rehabilitation center of <strong>Sepilok<\/strong>We will have a little \"junglesque\" stopover between two island stops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then go on <strong>Semporna<\/strong> and <strong>Sipadan<\/strong>...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It looks like a very nice program!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I've revised my Malaysia itinerary for July 2006.
